Our bedroom makeover was for Connor Robinson of Mier Hay. Connor who is only two has cancer and when we were asked to help by providing a bed we felt we could do such more to help Connor's support group.
What eventually happened was a full bedroom makeover with a firefighters feel. Connor loves fire engines so we thought a fire engine bed was called for! Together with blue flashing lights, frireman Sam curtains, duvet, fleece & pillow and pictures from Staffordshire fire sefvice around the walls. We even decorated the whole room too.
On the day of the reveal the whole neighbourhood turned out to see Connor come home and as an extra special suprise the Longton Fire Station sent a Bronto lift fire engine which took the family up to his bedroom instead of using the stairs. They went in instead through the window in true fireman style.

Conor lost his battle with cancer on the 26th October. Our thoughts and prayers go to Sarah & Darren his mum and dad.
